Foundation Repair and Waterproofing in Austin, MN

Challenge

Windy Y. in Austin, MN was concerned about her wet basement and cracked foundation walls. She had inward bowing walls and water was seeping through. She contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to her home to evaluate the situation. Windy approved of the proposed solution and moved forward with an installation date.

Solution

Our production team removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor. They installed PowerBraces and secured them to the wall before laying the WaterGuard drainage system. Once the WaterGuard was laid, they installed our SuperSump and CleanSpace wall vapor barrier, filled back the gaps in the concrete with rock, and replaced the concrete. The installation took a couple of days to complete, but Windy is now confident in the stability of her home, and she has peace of mind that her basement will remain dry.
