Push Piers Stabilize Foundation in Saint Paul, MN

Challenge

Candance K. in Saint Paul, MN had a damp basement and noticed some large cracks in the walls of her home that were only getting larger over time. Her foundation was settling, and she was concerned about the stability of her home. She did some research and learned that American Waterworks has been the leading foundation repair contractor in the region for the last 30 years! She contacted us, and our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, met with her to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution to fit her needs.

Solution

Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production crew installed Push Piers along the sides of the home to permanently solve the settlement problem by transferring the weight of the home to strong, competent supporting soils at a greater depth. The piers can also help to raise the home back to its original position. Then, they installed our WaterGuard drainage system, SuperSump sump pump, and Foamax wall insulation and finishing panels along the walls. Candace is pleased with the results and can rest easy knowing she chose a permanent solution to protect her home!
