Bowed Foundation Walls Repaired in Princeton, MN
Challenge
Bryan F. of Princeton, MN had bowing foundation walls in his basement, causing him to worry about the strength and stability of his home and its structural build. He went to the Blaine Home Show to try and find a contractor who could help him. He came across our booth and talked to our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson, about his foundation problems. After an in-depth conversation, Bryan signed up for a FREE Estimate for Chad to come to his home, inspect the walls and come up with a solution.
Solution
After a thorough inspection, Bryan was very comfortable with Chad's proposal, so he went ahead and scheduled an installation date. Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew began the project by digging five holes outside of the home. Next, Matt installed a long, medal rod from the inside of the foundation wall to each hole outside of the home. Our crew tightened and screwed on a GeoLock Wall Anchor to the ends of each rod, designed to pull the anchors back and straighten the bowed wall. To complete the project, Matt and his team back filled the holes and replaced the soil, leaving the yard looking neater than when they found it. The project only took a day, and Bryan's at-home peace of mind was restored!
