Leaking Basement Waterproofed in Ulen, MN
Challenge
Homeowners in Ulen, MN had water leaking from their walls and insulation into their basement, making them feel nervous and uncomfortable living in their home. Since wet insulation creates mold build-up, they wanted to get it taken care of right away. After doing some research online and coming across our website, they called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber. Rick went to their home to examine the basement and come up with a helpful solution. After an in-depth inspection, the homeowners were confident in Rick's proposal, so they went ahead with the project and got an installation date scheduled.
Solution
Our Foreman, Tremaine Jackson and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement floor with a jackhammer, forming a trench. Next, our crew applied our CleanSpace Wall System around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity build-up, acts as an extra wall protectant, and covers all holes and divots. Then, Tremaine and his team installed our WaterGuard System into the floor trench. Our WaterGuard serves as an underground system that leads to outside and it collects water seepage from foundation walls. Lastly, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. The whole project took a day and a half, and the homeowners were thrilled with the outcome!
