Foundation Walls Restored in Wahpeton, ND
Challenge
Homeowners in Wahpeton, ND had bowing and tilting walls in their basement, making them feel uncomfortable living in their own home. They wanted to get it repaired rather than going through the cost and complete disruption of a foundation replacement. After hearing about American Waterworks and their foundation repair products, the homeowners scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber. Rick went to their home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. The homeowners were confident in Rick's proposal, so they scheduled an installation date.
Solution
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team began the installation by digging five small holes outside of the home. From the inside of the basement, our team inserted a long, medal rod through the wall to each hole in the soil outside of the home. Next, Matt and his team tightened and secured a GeoLock C-Channel Wall Anchor on the end of each rod inside of the home. Then, in each hole outside of the home, our team tightened and screwed on an anchor to the end of each rod to stabilize the foundation wall and straighten it back to its normal position. To complete the project, Matt and his crew backfilled each hole and replaced the soil, leaving the yard looking neater than when they found it. The homeowners were extremely satisfied and had a remarkable experience!
