Challenge
Concrete Leveling Case Study: Sunken Walkway and Driveway in Mantorville, MN Raised, Sealed and Restored.
Al, a homeowner in Mantorville, MN had some concerns with concrete that settled and created many safety hazards. Al wanted to find an alternative to mud jacking that was a non-invasive and affordable solution to his concrete problems. That’s when he came across our website and looked into our case studies. Before and after photos, and reviews sparked his interest in our PolyLevel foam solution. Therefore, he contacted American Waterworks for more information on our concrete process.
Brian, one of our Design Specialists, met with Al to provide a FREE quote. Brian listened to Al’s questions and concerns, performed a detailed inspection, and designed a solution that met all of his needs. Al was pleased to learn that PolyLevel is more durable and much less invasive than traditional mud jacking; he went ahead and scheduled the installation.
Solution
Dylon M. led one of our concrete expert teams to drill small holes through the concrete and inject the polymer foam. This expanded and hardened under the concrete, causing the concrete to rise. They repeated this process numerous times until the driveway and walkways were raised back to their original position. Lastly, they sealed the holes in the concrete with fresh concrete and cleaned their work area. The project only took a couple of hours to complete. Now, Al can enjoy a safe and beautiful driveway for years to come!
