Damp Basement Gets Waterproofed In Buffalo, ND
Challenge
Charles in Buffalo, ND was experiencing signs of wall failure as well as water settlement in his basement. He called American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to his home to inspect his basement and create the right solution for his needs.
Solution
Noting Charles's interior drainage struggles, our Design Specialist recommended installing our WaterGuard drainage system and connecting it to a new SuperSump Plus. Our Foreman, Tanner, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter and forming a trench. Then, the team drilled small holes through the foundation to relieve pressure in order to connect the drain tile to the sump pump. They then finished filling in the holes and installing the WaterGuard system, which provides a quick and efficient exit for water. Charles now has a more comfortable, safe basement space without moisture. He was very pleased with the updates and happy to have a system that saves energy and gives peace of mind.
