Concerned Homeowner Uncovers Damp Basement in Elbow Lake, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Elbow Lake, MN, discovered dampness in their basement. Concerned by the findings that would cause further damage, the homeowner began searching for a solution. Solution

After evaluation, Ian concluded that the home would need a WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and a new sump pump installed. The homeowners agreed and the crew was sent out to start the job. For efficiency, American Waterworks asked if the homeowners could remove shelves in the back room, to which they agreed. First, the crew installed the WaterGuard near the base of the foundation floor. With the installation of the WaterGuard, the homeowners opted to have the IceGuard installed as well. Then, the crew removed the owner's old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+. Next, the crew placed CleanSpace along the exposed walls to any additional leaks and mold growth.
