Older Home Stabilized in Wimbledon, ND

Challenge

A homeowner in Wimbledon, ND, wished to have their home permanently stabilized. The troubled homeowner looked for the best foundation repair company to complete the job. After finding American Waterworks, they knew they found the perfect company to work with. The homeowners called the Appointment Center to sign up for their FREE estimate. After the appointment was made, our Design Specialist, Ian, went to evaluate the structure of the home. Following his detailed inspection, Ian determined the floors and foundation required permanent stabilization. Wanting to save their beloved home, the homeowners agreed with Ian's suggestions and repairs began.

Solution

Our crew traveled to the home and began the foundation repairs. First, the crew installed nine SmartJacks along the main beam to stabilize the home's floors. For them to be effective, the SmartJacks were placed at most six feet apart. The crew shifted their focus to the home's foundation. In the northern crawlspace, the crew installed two Helical Piers and a supplemental beam. The crew wrapped up and cleaned the job site. The homeowner was happy with the crew's excellent work. American Waterworks is glad that another customer's home was properly stabilized and safe.
