Damp, Cracked Basement in Beach, ND

Challenge

A homeowner in Beach, ND, discovered wet spots throughout their basement. Knowing this could become a larger issue in the spring, the homeowners wanted to get a head start on a solution. After looking through multiple basement waterproofing companies, the homeowner decided to work with us, American Waterworks. The homeowner went to our website and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the appointment was set, we sent a Design Specialist to evaluate the basement. After completing his evaluation, the Design Specialist informed the homeowner that their basement needed to be waterproofed and the walls be permanently stabilized. The Design Specialist proposed a solution to fix all the basement issues and the homeowners agreed.

Solution

After receiving the stamp of approval, the plans were sent to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Domenic, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the repairs and produce installation. First, the crew installed the WaterGuard around the edge of the basement. Along with the WaterGuard, a feedline was put in place across the basement floor. Next, the crew shifted their focus to installing CleanSpace on the lower half of the foundation. Once the CleanSpace was properly secured, the crew put 22 PowerBraces into place on all the basement walls. Domenic and the crew impressively installed all the required products and left the basement dry and secure.
