A homeowner in Maple Grove, MN, was admiring the new window in their basement when they discovered several cracks throughout the concrete. Anxious about the cause of these cracks, the homeowner sought an expert opinion. During their search, the homeowner came upon our social media and began investigating our past work. Once they saw the wonderful work we complete, the homeowner decided to visit our website and sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate details were set, we sent one of our Design Specialist, Nick, to evaluate the status of the basement. Once Nick completed the estimate, he determined the wall was showing signs of early wall failure. Nick suggested to the homeowners that they permanently stabilize the affected wall. The homeowners agreed to Nick's suggestions and production plans were sent to the assigned crew.

Solution

Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew arrived at the home to start the projection. They first started by preparing the wall for the CarbonArmor installation. CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System is the state-of-the-art solution used to fix cracked and bowing foundation walls. The crew installed four CarbonArmor strips onto the south basement wall. The CarbonArmor system reinforces and stabilizes basement walls utilizing the same technology used by the U.S. Department of Defense, Army Corps of Engineers, and aerospace engineers to reinforce bomb shelters, skyscrapers, and bridges. Once the CarbonArmor is secured into place, the crew cleans up their job site and leaves the home. The homeowners were pleased with the excellent work completed by the crew.
