Wooden Post Replaced in Monticello, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Monticello, MN, noticed their floors were beginning to sag. Attempting to solve it themselves, the homeowner decided to put up a wooden post in the middle of their basement. Wanting a long-term solution, the homeowner sought an expert's opinion. After searching for a while, the homeowner finally came across one of our testimonials and was interested in our services. Once he completed the inspection, Ryan determined that the wooden post required replacement.

Solution

Ryan suggested that the wooden post be replaced with a SmartJack, high-capacity adjustable steel pier designed to stop settling and raise the floor back to where it was. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed. The plans were set and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Gustavo, and his crew arrived at the home to begin production. After confirming the basement was clear, the crew took out the old wooden post. Once taken out, the crew could put the SmartJack into place.
