Crawl Space Saved in Clear Lake, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in Clear Lake, MN, decided to take a look at their crawl space. After investigating, the homeowner was disgusted by the status of their crawl space. The homeowner knew they needed professional assistance, so embarked on a search. After asking around their neighborhood, the homeowner kept hearing the name American Waterworks. They decided to take a closer look at our website and investigate to see if we offer crawl space services. Once they saw that we provided the services they were looking for, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Shane. Shane arrived at the home and began his inspection of the crawl space. Following his detailed inspection, Shane determined that the crawl space needed to be permanently stabilized and encapsulated.
Solution
After sharing with the homeowner his findings, Shane provided them with a solution that would solve many of their issues. The homeowners deliberated all their options and came to the conclusion Shane's plan was for the best. Quickly after they were approved, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew. When the crew arrived at the home, they began by installing the Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Next, the crew mechanically attached CleanSpace to the crawl space walls and floor. Then, the crew shifted their focus to installing eighteen PowerBraces around the entire crawl space. On the outside of the home, the crew attached Foamax to the foundation walls. Finally, the crew installed the TripleSafe sump pump in the corner of the crawl space to ensure protection.
