Glydon, MN, Sidewalk Lifted and Leveled

Challenge

A homeowner in Glydon, MN, was sick of the look of their cracked and uneven driveway. Not wanting to replace the entire slab, the homeowner wanted to look at repair options. One of the companies that jumped out at them was us, American Waterworks. Seeing that we offered concrete and crack repair services, the homeowner wanted to sign up for their FREE estimates. After the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Richie, one of our Design Specialists. When Richie arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and then began evaluating the concrete. After he completed his detailed inspection, Richie determined that the concrete was sinking due to soil settlement.

Solution

Once he found the problem, Richie could provide a solution for the homeowner. Richie suggested that the sinking concrete be lifted and leveled using our PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. The PolyLevel can restore the appearance and safety of the concrete without the mess or cost of replacement. Knowing this was the best option, the homeowner agreed with Richie's suggestions. Once they received the stamp of approval, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew. As soon as they arrived, they began installing the PolyLevel underneath a slab of concrete and sidewalk. Once the concrete was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to filling the cracks and joints. To fill these various cracks and joints, the crew used the NexusPro Crack Sealant, a silicone-based sealant solution. After everything was installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work done by the crew.
