Sidewalk Boosted in Alma, WI

Challenge

A homeowner in Alma, WI, wanted to have their struggling concrete repaired. Although they knew it may be difficult, the homeowner wanted to have their sidewalk repaired, not replaced. By requesting a concrete repair company, it immensely minimized their search. The homeowner came across our website and saw that we offer concrete lifting and leveling services. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our veteran Design Specialists, Chuck, to evaluate the status of the concrete. When Chuck arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began the evaluation of the concrete. Chuck discovered that the sidewalk was sinking due to soil settlement.

Solution

To stop the sidewalk from sinking further, Chuck recommended that the sidewalk be lifted and leveled using the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed and production began. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew were assigned to complete the job, so they traveled to the home. The crew started by inserting the PolyLevel underneath the entire sidewalk. When the PolyLevel was fully installed, the crew shifted their focus to filling the various cracks with the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based sealant. Once the NexusPro was fully installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew.
