A homeowner in Byron, MN, noticed their wall panels were slightly darker than normal. Concerned about water damage, the homeowner knew they needed to act fast. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Darin, to provide the homeowner with some answers. Darin arrived at the home and the homeowner showed him where the problem area was. After doing further investigation, Darin confirmed that water was sneaking into the homeowner's basement.

Solution

After Darin notified the homeowner of his discovery, he recommended fully waterproofing the basement. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they agreed with Darin's recommendations. Our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew were assigned to complete this job. The crew arrived at the home and began by hanging plastic to keep the area clean. Once all the plastic was hung up, the crew started the WaterGuard installation. Kiko and his crew dug channels and placed the WaterGuard around the entire basement perimeter. In addition to the WaterGuard, the crew dug a feedline across the basement floor to connect to the current sump pump system. Once all the channels were dug and covered, the crew cleaned up the basement and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the efficient work completed by the crew.
