Water-free Basement in Benson, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in Benson, MN was worried about her basement space after the recent rainfall. Every time it rained there was some water that had made its way into the basement, and she knew that it was time to make a change. Solution
Shane explained to the homeowner that the problem was able to be fixed, with the help of some waterproofing products. The homeowner was happy to hear something could be done to restore the space and agreed to the installations. When one of our Foremen, Lane Schlobohm, and his crew went to the site, they began by prepping the area and ensuring the homeowner's belonging were protected. Then the crew installed a WaterGuard basement drain system along the perimeter of the problem rooms to catch the incoming water. A new SuperSump pump system was placed in one of the rooms as well to keep the basement dry. Finally, some CleanSpace wall vapor barrier was fastened to the walls for both protection and to brighten the space. The homeowner was happy with the results and grateful for our crew's work.
