Sunken Front Stoop Lifted in Onalaska, WI
Challenge
A homeowner in Onalaska, WI was frustrated with the look of his front stoop and how much it had sunk from the porch area. It left a large gap behind that looked unpleasant and it made for a steep step down when coming out of the front door. Not wanting this to be an issue for any of his visitors, he went online and looked up concrete repair services in his area. The number of results surprised him, but once he came across the American Waterworks website, he knew we were the right choice for the project. He signed up for a FREE estimate appointment and met with our Design Specialist, Will Reader.
Solution
Will analyzed the concrete spaces in front of the front door and determined that the soil underneath the concrete had compacted and settled. This had created a void underneath and prompted the concrete stoop to sink. To combat this, Will explained that our PolyLevel foam would work to lift and level the concrete back up. The homeowner knew this was the best way to move forward and agreed to the installation. Our Foreman, Troy Johnson, and his crew arrived at the site later to install the PolyLevel foam as well as our NexusPro sealant to the joints for a smooth final look that the homeowner was happy with.
