Leaky, Cracked Walls Repaired in Adrian, MN

A homeowner in Adrian, MN, noticed several issues with their basement. Worried about the long-term effects, the homeowner decided to take action. After hearing about the recent flooding in nearby towns, the homeowner saw that American Waterworks helped many of those families. The homeowner took a closer look at the services we provide and was impressed with our excellent reputation. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan, to the home to perform the estimate. Once Ryan arrived, he began his detailed walk-through of the basement and found many issues. Ryan discovered the foundation walls were cracked and signs of water damage throughout.

Solution

Ryan presented his findings to the homeowner but also provided them with a solution. To stop the cracks from spreading, Ryan recommended permanently stabilizing the walls and waterproofing the entire basement. After considering all their options, the homeowner knew this was their best plan of action. The plans were directed to our office for approval, then to our Foreman Chris, and his crew. Chris and his crew traveled to the home and started by installing 19 GeoLock anchors on the foundation walls. GeoLock Wall Anchors is a system that permanently stabilizes your foundation wall and can straighten it back to its original position. Once the GeoLock anchors were properly installed, the crew could shift their focus to installing WaterGuard on the basement floors. WaterGuard is a perimeter drain system that is specifically engineered to fix basement water issues without the issues of clogging. Finally, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+. The crew successfully installed all the products and left the basement better than they arrived.
