Crawl Space Entry Covers Installed in Darwin, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Darwin, MN, was unsure why their energy bill was skyrocketing. Wanting an answer, the homeowner sought an expert opinion. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner began looking into several companies around the area. While looking through several companies, the homeowner's eye was caught by our crawl space before and after photos. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists.

Solution

After the Design Specialists arrived, the homeowner showed them to the problematic crawl space. The Design Specialists went into the crawl space and identified where the issues were located. After they found where the problem lay, the Design Specialist was able to diagnose a solution for their issues. The Design Specialist recommended fully encapsulating the crawl space. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the solution. The plans were directed to our office for final approval, and then to our Foreman, Kiko. Once they received the plans, Kiko and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, the crew began by removing the debris from the crawl space. After the debris was removed, the crew laid the Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace on the crawl space walls and floors, and they wrapped the piers. Finally, the crew attached the Everlast Crawl Space door to the crawl space entrance. The crew successfully finished the project, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home.
