Stillwater, MN, Sinking Steps and Slabs Raised
Challenge
A homeowner in Stillwater, MN, tripped entering their home one evening. Concerned this was becoming a significant tripping hazard, the homeowner began looking into repair options near their home. The homeowner looked into "concrete lifting companies near Stillwater, MN" and came across our website. After looking at all our products and high-quality concrete lifting services, the homeowner knew we were the best option for them. Since they were already on the website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Aidan, to the home to perform the estimate.
Solution
Aidan arrived at the home and started his thorough investigation of the outside concrete. During his inspection, Aidan discovered the concrete was sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the concrete from settling further, Aidan suggested lifting the sidewalk steps and slabs with PolyLevel, our polyurethane foam injection solution. After some deliberation, the homeowner decided to go ahead with this plan. Aidan passed the plans along to the office to be finalized, then they were sent to our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew. Once they received the plans, Dylon and his crew traveled to Stillwater to begin the project. First, Dylon and his crew began by installing PolyLevel underneath the walkway. Once the walkway was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to taking out any old joints and replacing them with the NexusPro Joint Seleant, a silicone-based solution. The crew successfully filled all the joints, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew.
