Crawl Space Maintenance in Chippewa Falls, WI

A homeowner in Chippewa Falls, WI, knew they needed to take a closer look at their damaged crawl space. Knowing that could become a major issue, the homeowner began looking into "crawl space maintenance near me". One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. Solution

Daniel promptly arrived at the home and thoroughly inspected the crawl space. During his inspection, Daniel determined the crawl space was not properly encapsulated, causing the musty odor. To stop the odor from worsening, Daniel recommended encapsulating the crawl space with our award-winning products. After hearing Daniel's proposal, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for the project. Daniel passed the proposal to our Logistics team to build and approve the project. Once the project was approved, our Logistics team scheduled it for the following month. We assigned our Foreman, Lane, and his crew to complete the project. Lane and his crew started by installing Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Drainage Matting is an extremely durable matting that creates a drainage space and thermal break between CleanSpace and the ground beneath your crawl space. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. CleanSpace is a heavy 20-mil thick liner that acts as a vapor barrier for your crawl space. Once the CleanSpace was secured, Lane and his crew completed the installation by attaching Foamax to the top of the crawl space walls. Foamax is an advanced polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel that is designed with a white foil finish on the front and a foil vapor on the back. After the Foamax was secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew.
