Overview of PolyLevel and How it Works
Overview:
Whether it is a patio, driveway, sidewalk, garage floor, or pool deck, the causes of concrete settlement are all the same. Beneath any concrete slab, voids and empty spaces can form due to soil shrinking, washing away, or settling. In this situation, the concrete sinks and creates an uneven surface because the soil can no longer hold the slab in place.
What is it?
Our PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that gets injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil destruction and to raise the concrete surface to where it needs to be. It is a clean injection, it provides accurate results, it is adjustable for objects of all sizes, and it is a fast installation that cures quickly. In fact, our PolyLevel cures within 15 minutes after our installation, unlike traditional mudjacking which takes 24 hours or more. It cures so fast that you can drive your car over your lifted slab in less than a half-hour!
How is it installed?
When it comes time for installation, the first thing our crew does is drill small 5/8-inch holes throughout the concrete slab. Next, our team installs injection ports over the holes to guide the PolyLevel underneath the concrete and provide a successful injection. Then, our team injects our PolyLevel through the holes to get underneath the concrete and fill the voids to raise the slab surface. Lastly, our crew seals the holes and control joints, ensuring the concrete slab is neater and cleaner than when they found it.
Call to Action
If your concrete is structurally sound, there is no reason to replace it because that will not fix the soil problem. If it is uneven, mudjacking will not cure it like our PolyLevel can.
