Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation and Waterproofing in Rochester, MN

Camille M. in Rochester, MN had water seeping into her basement that caused the space to become damp, musty and unhealthy. She was concerned about the air quality and that she was losing energy through her dirt crawl space. She decided to contact American Waterworks to receive a free estimate, so we sent our Design Specialist to her home to design the best solution for Camille’s needs. Our production crew removed the debris in the crawl space and leveled the ground as much as possible before installing the drainage matting and Foamax Wall Insulation along the walls. Then, they installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the entire dirt floor of the crawl space, which encapsulates it completely, keeping out pests, moisture, and humidity.  Lastly, they installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement, SuperSump sump pump, and battery backup. The combination of these waterproofing products transformed Camille’s basement into a dry, clean space. American Waterworks was able to restore her peace of mind and make her home whole again.
