Photo Album: Basement Waterproofed in Detroit Lakes, MN

Joe H. of Detroit Lakes, MN had water leaking throughout his basement, causing him to feel nervous about his home repair conditions. He gave American Waterworks a call after doing some research and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to his home to inspect his basement and come up with a solution. Joe got all of his questions answered and felt comfortable with Chad's proposal, so he scheduled an installation date.  Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, Brian and his team installed 92 feet of our WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard is a waterproofing product that serves as an underground drain, collects water seepage from basement walls, and prevents water clogs. Next, our team covered the concrete with rock and applied a plastic, black layer over the rock. To complete the project, our team applied new concrete.
