Photo Album: Church Basement Waterproofed in Pine River, MN

A church manager in Pine River, MN had water seeping into the basement of their church and they wanted to get it taken care of as soon as possible before it got any worse. They got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to the church, met the manager, and went down to their basement to inspect the problems and come up with a solution. The church manager was content with Chad's proposal and presentation, so they moved forward with the project and scheduled an installation date.  Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production crew started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to collect water leakage from basement walls, prevent mud clogs, and serve as an underground drainage system that works together with the sump pump. Next, our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is made to keep basements dry for long periods of time, it solves all three water issues in one system, and it provides three levels of water protection. Lastly, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier, which prevents mold and humidity build-up, provides a neat and clean appearance, and guides water into the WaterGuard to drain out of the basement. To complete the entire project, Ryan and his production team filled the open gaps with river rock, applied new concrete over it, and did a thorough walkthrough with the church manager to make sure that all expectations were met.
