They called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew. Shane went to their home, carefully inspected their water problems, and drew out a solution that worked for Brooks and their home repair budget. Brooks was confident in Shane's proposal and got all of their questions answered, so they went ahead with the repairs and scheduled a date for the installation.  Our Foreman, Hugo, and his production team began the project by digging out the soil around the siding with an excavator, forming a large hole. Once that was formed, our team outlined the window dimensions from the inside of the basement and cut out the wall. Then, our crew installed our Egress window well. This window well provides a safe, code-compliant basement egress, and is large enough to allow a safe exit in case of an emergency. It also provides more natural light to the basement and makes the space feel larger and cozier. Lastly, our team backfilled the gaps surrounding the window well and attached a window well cover.
