Photo Album: Wet Basement Repaired in Wahpeton, ND

A male resident in Wahpeton, ND had water coming into his basement, and he wanted to get it looked at by a local contractor. A contractor in town recommended American Waterworks to him for the repairs. The homeowner called our office and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, so he went out to the homeowner's house, examined their basement, and determined a solution that worked for them and their needs. The resident was confident in our proposal of our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain and CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, so he went ahead with the project.  Our Foreman and their production team began the project by breaking out the floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard, which prevents water clogs and collects water leaks from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace around the entire wall perimeter, which is pliable enough to cover holes and divots, prevents humidity from making its way into the basement, and is waterproof. To complete the installation, our team filled the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the space was neater than when they found it.
