American Waterworks to Host Grand Opening Celebration

ROCHESTER, Minn. (June 6, 2022)—On Monday, American Waterworks announced the details of their grand opening and customer appreciation event. “American Waterworks Fest” will take place Friday, August 26, 2022, beginning at 5 p.m. and running until 8 p.m., and will be held at their headquarters on Valleyhigh Drive in Rochester. The event will aim to show gratitude to the company’s loyal customer base and will feature live music, food, drink, and fun for the whole family.

American Waterworks, known for their premier basement waterproofing and foundation repair solutions, quickly outgrew their Pine Island warehouse and made a move to a bigger location, taking over the former Pepsi Bottling Company in Northwest Rochester back in 2020. “We have been wanting to do a sort of open-house for a while, but COVID stopped that.” said owner, Steve Breland. “We’re excited to open our doors and show the public we’re more than a construction company, and rather, part of the community.”

Marketing Manager, Madison Rudesill said “We aim to create an event that will be fun for everyone of all ages. The only reason we’ve found success here is through the support of our customers, so we want to do something, not only for them but for their families.” Rudesill goes on to say that the company is excited to pair with local favorites and that the vendor list will continue to expand in the coming weeks.  

The event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 26^th with a live band, The Fabulous Armadillos, taking the stage. Also in attendance will be local vendors, Bleu Duck, Little Thistle Brewing, and Whistle Binkies. Bounces houses and carnival games will take place on the front lawn of the business. American Waterworks was established in 1989 by owner and founder, Steve Breland. They are currently based in Rochester, MN, and service a wide variety of household issues such as basement waterproofing, foundation repair, concrete lifting, and leveling, Radon testing and mitigation, and crawl space encapsulation.
