Wet Basement in New Richland, MN Gets Waterproofed
Challenge
Andy S. in New Richland, MN dreaded each heavy rainfall because he knew he would have to deal with water leaking into his basement. When Andy was at a local home show, he visited the American Waterworks booth and told our Design Specialist, Shane, about his basement troubles. They coordinated a time for Shane to do a FREE onsite inspection and estimate. Shane developed a thorough plan to waterproof Andy’s basement, and Andy was pleased with the proposal, so he moved forward with the installation.
Solution
Our production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor, laid the WaterGuard drainage system, installed the TripleSafe sump pump, and then filled back the gaps with rock. The discharge line was installed in the yard and they replaced the concrete in the basement. The process took two days, but now Andy’s peace of mind is restored! He loves his system and is happy to report that his basement has been dry ever since.
