Church Basement Gets Waterproofed in Strum, WI
Challenge
Gerald H. contacted American Waterworks on behalf of his church congregation regarding water leaking into the basement. He noticed that water had been seeping through a crack in the foundation for quite some time now, and they were getting concerned about their quality of the air. One of our Design Specialists met with Gerald to develop a solution and provide him with a free estimate. He was impressed with our thorough plan and the quality of our system, so he chose to move forward with the installation.
Solution
Our production team removed a portion of the concrete floor in the basement to install the WaterGuard drainage system and our TripleSafe sump pump. Then, they installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier system which protects the space from moisture and potential mold growth. Lastly, they replaced the concrete and cleaned their work area. The process only took one day to complete, and now the congregation no longer has to be concerned about the health implications that can be caused by a wet basement.
