Basement in Saint Croix Falls, WI Gets Waterproofed

Challenge

Jordan D. in Saint Croix Falls, WI noticed water seeping through his block foundation. Jordan was using his basement for storage, and the water that was pooling on the floor was causing damage to his belongings. He contacted American Waterworks for a free estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, to his home to inspect the basement and develop the right solution for Jordan's needs.

Solution

Chad recommended having the entire basement waterproofed, and Jordan agreed that that was the best solution for him. Our production team started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter to create a trench for the WaterGuard drainage system. Then they installed the TripleSafe sump pump and battery back up in the corner of the basement and then replaced the concrete. The WaterGuard now properly guides water into the sump pump. From there, the water is expelled from the basement through the discharge line. The installation only took a day to complete, and now Jordan's peace of mind has been restored!

During the installation of the WaterGuard drainage system. This drainage system properly guides water to the sump pump.

The TripleSafe sump pump and battery backup have been installed and the concrete has been replaced.

Water is pumped through these discharge lines and exits through the LawnScape. These homeowners also chose to have IceGuard installed so the pipes do not freeze during the winter.

The LawnScape is designed to blend in with the yard, so it does not disrupt the landscaping. This is where the water exits the home.
