Basement in Le Center, MN Gets Waterproofed

Challenge

Sharon Z. in Le Center was suffering from a wet basement. She was experiencing high humidity and musty smells throughout her home. After researching waterproofing contractors, she decided to work with American Waterworks to have our waterproofing system installed.

Solution

Our production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of her basement floor to create a trench. They laid our WaterGuard drainage system in the trench and installed the SuperSump sump pump in the corner of the basement. They connected the drainage system to the sump pump and then replaced the concrete over the WaterGuard and around the sump pump. Water now properly flows through the drainage system, into the sump pump, and from there the water is expelled from the home through the discharge line.
