Finished Basement in Tracy, MN Gets Waterproofed

Challenge

Craig in Tracy, MN had water leaking through the corners of his finished basement. Unfortunately, the water had caused damage to his flooring. He wanted to find a long-term solution, so that he could make his basement a healthy, livable space again, so he contacted American Waterworks for a free estimate. After meeting with our Design Specialist and learning about our waterproofing system, he chose to move forward with the project.

Solution

Our production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor and then laid the WaterGuard drainage system. Then, they installed the SuperSump sump pump in the corner of the basement and connected the WaterGuard to it. They replaced the concrete over the WaterGuard and around the sump pump. Any water seeping into the basement is now properly guided through the WaterGuard and into the sump pump. From there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home.
