Waterproofing System Installation in Clear Lake, IA

Challenge

James in Clear Lake, IA was suffering from a wet basement. Water was seeping through the foundation each time he experienced a heavy rainfall. A friend of his recently had our waterproofing system installed and was very happy with the results, so James decided to contact us for a free estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton, went onsite to inspect his basement and to develop a personalized waterproofing solution. James was impressed with Eric's plan and he was eager to get his basement back, so he scheduled to have our system installed.

Solution

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his crew started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of his basement floor to create a trench for the drainage system and a hole for the sump pump to be installed. They laid our WaterGuard drainage system in the trench around the basement and installed a lateral line through the middle of the basement floor to ensure that water is properly guided to the sump pump. Then, they installed the TripleSafe sump pump- which is our most reliable sump pump system. They replaced the concrete around the sump pump and over the WaterGuard and then buried the discharge line in the yard. Water now properly flows through the drainage system, into the sump pump and from there, it is expelled from the home through the discharge line.
