Wet Basement Gets Waterproofed in Reading, MN
Challenge
Joseph J. in Reading, MN wanted to finish his basement, but he needed to complete the partially installed waterproofing system. He contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate, and we were glad to send a Design Specialist to evaluate the situation and provide a proposal. Joseph approved of the plan and moved forward with the installation.
Solution
Our production team started the installation of our waterproofing system by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench for the WaterGuard drainage system and the sump pump. Then, they installed the new SuperSump sump pump and WaterGuard drainage system, which connects to the sump pump. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard into the sump pump, and then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Joseph is glad he can completely finish his project, knowing his basement will remain dry!
