Basement Waterproofed and Windows Installed in Zumbrota, MN
Challenge
Brian S. in Zumbrota, MN had standing water in his basement after every heavy rain. He was getting tired of dealing with his wet basement and the damage it was causing to his drywall and flooring, so he contacted American Waterworks for a permanent solution. Our Design Specialist, Jeremy Radtke, evaluated his situation and proposed a plan. Brian approved and move forward with the installation.
Solution
Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his crew removed the damaged drywall and the concrete around the perimeter of the basement. They laid 178 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system, our recommended TripleSafe sump pump, and CleanSpace wall vapor barrier. Lastly, they installed 8 EverLast basement windows, and a new Rockwell egress window to completely transform the basement and give it a clean, finished look. Brian is glad he made the investment to protect his home and that his basement is now a dry, functional space!
