Basement in Tomah, WI Gets Waterproofed
Challenge
Larry B. in Tomah, WI had water seeping into the basement of his rental property. He wanted to find a permanent solution, so he contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. He met with one of our Design Specialists, who recommended that he have our WaterGuard drainage system and TripleSafe sump pump installed. Larry was impressed with our products and the design, so he moved forward with an installation date.
Solution
Our production crew began the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench for the WaterGuard. They installed our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier along half of the walls, and then installed the TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard drainage system. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard into the sump pump, and then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Larry is glad he chose to invest in a long-term solution for his home.
