Waterproofing in West Salem, WI
Challenge
Darwin G. in West Salem, WI had a significant amount of water leaking into his basement, creating a damp, unhealthy space. His sump pump was old and unable to keep up with the amount of water that was seeping into his basement. He knew the problem was only going to get worse, and he needed a permanent solution. He called American Waterworks and met with one of our Design Specialists who proposed a unique waterproofing design for his home.
Solution
Our production team started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and through the middle of the floor to create a trench for the 229 feet of WaterGuard drainage system and 102 feet of lateral feed lines. After installing two TripleSafe sump pumps and laying the WaterGuard, they replaced the concrete and cleaned up their work area. Darwin’s peace of mind has been restored, and he is glad he made the investment to protect his home.
