Wet Basement Restored in Tracy, MN

Challenge

Ann P. in Tracy, MN contacted American Waterworks because she had water leaking into her basement after heavy rains and snow melt. She wanted to finish her basement, and knew she needed a permanent solution. She did her research and learned that American Waterworks has been the leading waterproofing contractor in the region for 30 years. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, to meet with her and evaluate the situation. Ryan worked side-by-side with Ann to create a custom plan for her home. Ann was impressed with the proposal and moved forward with the project.

Solution

Our Foreman, Austin Lucas, and his production crew got to work and removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and through the middle of the floor for the feed line. Next, they laid our WaterGuard drainage system and installed our SuperSump sump pump. Then, they installed our ZenWall Insulated Panels and our Basement To Beautiful Insulated Panels along the walls. Water is now guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump and from there is expelled from the home through the discharge line. The insulated wall panels provide superior insulation and easily tie into the perimeter drain to direct water from the walls straight into the waterproofing system. Ann was pleased with the results and glad she made the investment to protect her home!
