Basement Restored in Minneapolis, MN

Challenge

Stone D. in Minneapolis, MN had water seeping into her basement. She was tired of cleaning it up, and it was starting to cause damage to her property. She contacted American Waterworks after doing some research, and we sent our Design Specialist, Jeremy Radtke, to meet with her and propose a permanent solution. While Jeremy was inspecting her home, he also noticed that the floor was sagging and recommended our structural support jacks.

Solution

Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production crew began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor and laying 96 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner. Then, the crew installed 3 SmartJacks to provide support and stabilize the sagging floor joists. The crew completed the project by installing our spray foam and Basement To Beautiful Insulated Panels along the walls of the basement. Our Basement To Beautiful Panels provide 24% more energy savings than conventional foam products, and will never rot or support mold growth. Lastly, the crew filled back the gaps with rock, replaced the concrete, and cleaned up their work area. Stone was thrilled with the results and glad she made the investment to protect her home.
