Waterproofing in Redwood Falls, MN
Challenge
Steve B. in Redwood Falls, MN had water seeping up through the floor in his basement. He was tired of dealing with it and wanted a permanent solution. A previous satisfied customer recommended American Waterworks, and Steve gave us a call. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton, to evaluate the situation and design a unique solution for Steve’s home.
Solution
Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production crew got to work and removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and through the middle of the floor to create a trench for the 124 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system and the feed line. Next, the crew installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner. Then, they filled back the gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Water is now guided through the drainage system to the sump pump, and from there, it is expelled from the home through the discharge line. Steve’s peace of mind has been restored, knowing his basement will remain dry!
