Basement Waterproofing and Wall Stabilization in Rochester, MN
Challenge
Constance G. in Rochester, MN contacted American Waterworks after she saw one of our commercials on TV. She had water seeping through her foundation and wanted a permanent solution. She met with one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, who recommended she have our basement waterproofing system installed. While he was evaluating the situation, he also noticed the foundation walls had a slight bow. He presented our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System. Constance was impressed with Shane’s plan and moved forward with the project.
Solution
Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production crew began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement to create a trench for the 116 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. To stabilize the foundation walls, the crew installed the CarbonArmor system with epoxy and 7 carbon fiber strips. Lastly, they installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to further protect the space from moisture and mold. Constance is pleased with the results and her peace of mind has been restored!
