WaterGuard and Foamax Complete Waterproofing Project in Long Lake, MN
Challenge
Ryan H. in Long Lake, MN already had our waterproofing system installed in half of his basement in 2014 and was ready to have the entire basement completed. Our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson, who designed the first half of the project, was happy to meet with Ryan again. After his inspection, Chad was able to recommend our WaterGuard and Foamax insulated wall panels. Ryan approved of the plan and move forward with the installation.
Solution
Our Foreman, Cory Sather, and his production team began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement in order to gain access to the foundation footing. Next, they placed sections of WaterGuard within the trench, resting on a bed of drainage stone. Then, they installed our Foamax insulated wall panels and spray foam around the rim joists. The Foamax provides comfort and energy bill savings, while making the walls look clean and bright. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump. From there, the water is expelled from the home through the discharge line. Ryan was glad we could complete the project and is looking forward to having his entire basement dry!
