WaterGuard and SuperSump Protect Millville, MN Basement

Challenge

Kelly K. in Millville, MN contacted American Waterworks after being referred to us by a previous customer. She had water seeping into the basement, and she wanted to permanently fix the problem. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Dustin Loftus, to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution for her home. After Dustin’s inspection, he was able to recommend a combination of our waterproofing products. Kelly approved of the plan and moved forward with the project.

Solution

Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production team began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench. Then, they laid the WaterGuard in the trench and installed a SuperSump sump pump. They filled back the gaps with rock and then replaced the concrete around the sump pump and over the WaterGuard. Water now properly drains to the sump pump through the WaterGuard. The water is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Kelly’s peace of mind has been restored and she can now enjoy a dry, healthier basement for years to come!
