Wet Basement Restored in New Germany, MN
Challenge
Jan S. in New Germany, MN was concerned about her foundation and the water leaking into her basement potentially compromising the air quality of her home. She contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate, and our Design Specialist, Jeremy Radtke, presented her with our products and the best solution. Jan approved of the plan and scheduled the installation.
Solution
Our Foreman, Mason Chamberlin, and his production crew successfully waterproofed the basement by installing 187 feet of our our WaterGuard drainage system and feed line around the perimeter of the basement floor and a TripleSafe sump pump in the corner. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump and from there the water is expelled from the home through the discharge line. When installing the discharge line, they put an IceGuard system on the line to prevent it from freezing up during the wintertime. Jan was impressed with the finished project and is glad she made the investment to protect her home!
