Waterproofing and Crawl Space Encapsulation in Dunnell, MN
Challenge
Dennis M. in Dunnell, MN contacted American Waterworks after doing some research online. He had water leaking into his basement and was interested in our waterproofing system and crawl space encapsulation services. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Dylan Woitas, to inspect his home and provide him with the best solution. Dennis was impressed with Dylan’s presentation, and he approved of the plan.
Solution
Our Foreman, Edgar Miranda, and his production crew began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and through the middle of the floor to make a trench for 124 feet of the WaterGuard drainage system and feed line. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump, which is backed by three levels of protection! Then, the crew installed Foamax Insulation Panels along the walls, and our EverLast Basement Windows to give the space a bright and clean appearance. The crew also tackled the crawl space encapsulation by first removing the debris from the space and installing our drainage matting along the crawl space floor, Foamax Panels along the walls, and spray foam insulation to seal the rim joists. They completed the encapsulation by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the floor. The combination of these waterproofing and crawl space encapsulation products ensures that the basement space will be a dry, clean, and energy-efficient part of the home. Dennis was really pleased with the results and had great things to say about his experience. We are happy we could help restore their peace of mind!
