Waterproofing Systems Save Basement in Kiester, MN

Challenge

Heidi O. of Kiester, MN had water leaking in her basement and needed to come up with a solution. She gave American Waterworks a call to see if they could come out to her home for a Free Estimate. We sent out our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell, to diagnose the problem and come up with a solution. Heidi got all of her questions answered and was content with the proposal so she scheduled the installation date.

Solution

Our foreman, Cory Sather, and his production team started the project breaking out the concrete around the perimeter of the basement to install our Waterguard Drain System, which serves as an underground water drain. Next, they installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump which is the best sump pump that we provide to our customers and it offers three levels of protection. Then they filled the open gaps with rock and eventually did replace the concrete. To finish the installation, they installed two IceGuard Systems outside of the home that connects to the TripleSafe, which provides extra protection from basement flooding. Heidi was very happy with the work that was done and appreciates American Waterworks for saving the life and stability of her basement!

Step 1: This is the corner of the basement that had lots of seepage and water issues, which prompted Heidi to give American Waterworks a call.

Step 2: Production team starting to break out the concrete to install the WaterGuard Draining System.

Step 3: Finished installation of the TripleSafe Sump Pump and filling the gaps in with rock.

Step 4: Completed installation of the IceGuard which offers another source of protection to prevent any water issues down the road.
