Basement Leaking in Brainerd, MN

Challenge

Jim and Jane M. of Brainerd, MN had water leaking under their staircase, causing them to worry about the value and life of their home. Since water can cause lots of damage, they wanted to get it fixed right away. They peaked around on HomeAdvisor and came across American Waterworks waterproofing project. Jim called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew, to come to their home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. Both of them were comfortable and got all of their questions answered, so they went ahead with the project.

Solution

Our Foreman, Dan Hendrix, and his production team started the project by breaking out the concrete underneath the stairs to form a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard System, designed as an underground drain and prevents water clogs. Next, our team filled the cracks and placed the concrete. Lastly, our crew applied our CleanSpace Wall System, which prevents mold and humidity and prevents wall water seepage. Jim and Jane were thrilled with the outcome and had a wonderful experience from start to finish!
