Basement Waterproofed in Newport, MN
Challenge
When a home is built, the contractors designing it never meant for the basement to be a damp, musty, flooding space. But as time and the forces of nature continue to bear down on your foundation, it is bound to leak sooner or later.
A male homeowner in Newport, MN had water leaking into his basement and he wanted to get it repaired as soon as possible before his situation got worse. He called our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with one of our Design Specialists. Our Design Specialist went to his home, inspected his water leaks, and came up with a solution that he was content and comfortable with. The homeowner got all of his questions answered and was confident in our products and warranty, so he followed through with the project.
Solution
Our Foreman and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete in his basement, forming a small hole. Inside the hole, our team installed our sump basket, followed by the pumps and battery back-up. This sump pump installation sums up to our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. In connection with the discharge line, our TripleSafe provides three levels of protection, solves all three problems in one system, and pumps water out quickly and efficiently. Next, our team filled the open concrete gaps around the sump pump with river rock, providing a stable base, and applied new concrete on top of that. Lastly, our crew installed our SaniDry XP Upright Dehumidifier, which is the most ideal choice because it dries up to 2,500 square feet and it removes up to 109 liters of water per day. The homeowner was excited and content with the work!
